Practice with codes: 13-letter swap

Working with codes can be tricky. That’s why practicing helps.

Take your time, write it down on a piece of paper, and double-check if something doesn’t make sense.

  1. Write down the first thirteen letters of the alphabet in a row. Underneath, match up the next thirteen letters.

  2. When you want to write the message, for a letter in the top row like the letter M, use the letter right underneath, which is the letter Z. For a letter on the bottom row like the letter T, use the letter just above, which is the letter G.
